Urban Meyer already acing new broadcasting gig
Urban Meyer isn’t new to the broadcasting booth. He was a member of ESPN’s college football coverage in 2011 after he left Florida. But after seven years and many coaching records at Ohio State, the legendary coach decided to return to television. So far, so good.
Meyer has done it all so far for FOX. As part of FOX’s new show “Big Noon Kickoff,” which will attempt to take some of ESPN’s “College GameDay” audience. If Meyer keeps breaking football down like this, FOX might be able to challenge the Worldwide Leader for an audience.
Could Master Teague take over as Ohio State backup running back?
To put it simply: Master Teague ran with a purpose Saturday. His violent running style impressed in the blowout win over Florida Atlantic. Maybe Ohio State should pump the breaks and wait until he can do that against a better opponent. Or maybe the Buckeyes have finally found a special teams role for Demario McCall, and Teague will be able to take control of the secondary running back role.

Mike Weber lands on Cowboys practice squad
While J.K. Dobbins finally has the featured running back role to himself in Columbus, Mike Weber has been fighting for a roster spot in Dallas.
After the preseason, Weber earned a spot on the Cowboys practice squad. The Cowboys obviously already have Ezekiel Elliott. As he enters Week One of the NFL regular season holding out with contract negotiations, Weber will get to stay in Dallas and try to earn a spot on the 53-man roster at some point this season.
Ryan Day will address media Tuesday
