Ohio State shifts schedule ahead of Friday night game
Following a week of rest and recovery, Ohio State now shifts its attention to a Friday night road game at Northwestern, where the Buckeyes are a heavy favorite and should roll the Wildcats.
With the weird schedule, the Buckeyes moved everything, including the weekly Ryan Day press conference, up a day to keep it all as normal as possible. As easy as the game looks for Ohio State on paper, Day knows what the Buckeyes are up against when they face the Wildcats.
“That whole defense is back from last year in the Big Ten championship game,” Day said. “Pat [Fitzgerald] is as good a coach as there is in the country. It’s documented. It’s hard to find a yard against them.”
So as the week progresses, Ohio State will continue to do everything a day before it usually does things, and that will be the resemblance of normalcy before next week’s huge matchup against Wisconsin.
Ryan Day, Buckeyes meet with media
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day met with the media Monday for his weekly press conference, a day before he usually does due to the Friday night game. After Day, Jeff Hafley, Jonathon Cooper, Jordan Fuller and Josh Myers talked to the media to preview Ohio State’s upcoming matchup at Northwestern.

Latest Birminology with 2021 star wide receiver
On the latest episode of Birminology with Lettermen Row recruiting expert Birm, 2021 three-star wide receiver Troy Stellato talked to Birm about the explosion of big-time offers that came after Ohio State extended a scholarship offer to the 6-foot, 172-pound receiver.
How is Stellato handling all the attention? What has caught the eye of these dozen or so schools during his junior season? Why does his relationship with Brian Hartline, Keenan Bailey and the rest of the Buckeyes coaching staff stand out?
Stellato talked about that and much more on the latest Birminology.
Ohio State matchup with Wisconsin set for noon
The biggest game of the Big Ten season is going to be played at noon, and it’ll be in a national TV slot. Ohio State and Wisconsin will kick off at noon on Oct. 26 as part of FOX’s Big Noon Saturday.
The Big Ten confirmed the start time for the Buckeyes and Badgers next weekend Monday morning. Ohio State and Wisconsin will likely enter the game as No. 4 and No. 6 in the country, respectively, and it’ll carry weight in the race for the College Football Playoff.
