All Buckeyes starters expected healthy for season opener

The Ohio State roster isn’t completely healthy, but the projected starting lineup is expected to be completely intact for the opener.

Nothing can ever be taken for granted during this unusual season in the midst of a pandemic. But as of Friday morning, the Buckeyes are expecting to be close to full strength as they open the Big Ten slate against Nebraska.

Outside linebacker Justin Hilliard is considered a game-time decision according to the program’s availability report, but the senior appears to be the only rotation regular dealing with any uncertainty heading into the matchup on Saturday at noon in the Horseshoe.

Ohio State doesn’t specify any injuries and isn’t planning to release any COVID-testing details this season. But so far, the Buckeyes appear to have managed the health of the roster through training camp well on the eve of kickoff.
