Binjimen Victor helping Ohio State offense go
After Saturday’s blowout win over Miami (Ohio), Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields was asked which of his throws was his favorite of the afternoon.
“Probably the one to Bin, maybe,” Fields said after giving it some thought. “I like that one.”
He was referring to his 30-yard touchdown throw to Binjimen Victor, who leaped over a defender and high-pointed the ball in the back of the end zone on a third-and-20 play.
“I thought that was great,” Ohio State coach Ryan Day said. “Bin’s a guy who, if he makes big plays, we go. And that’s really Bin in our first four games. And he’s made some big plays this year, and that’s kind of got our offense going. He has big-play ability. That was a big time throw and catch.”
Urban Meyer loved to talk in hyperbole about Victor, who he thought could be great. But the fact remains that Victor’s talent has always been there. This season, he appears to have taken another step, and he’s leading the Ohio State wide receiver room.
Ohio State safety Isaiah Pryor in transfer portal
Ohio State has confirmed to Lettermen Row’s Austin Ward that Isaiah Pryor will transfer and won’t return to play for the team again this season, and he was listed in the transfer portal as a potential graduate transfer for prospective schools to contact starting on Monday.
Pryor’s timing is interesting as it comes after the fourth game of the season, which is the maximum number of games a player can participate in and still retain a season of eligibility. Pryor has appeared in all four games this season, totaling three tackles for the Buckeyes.
A former four-star recruit and top-100 prospect out of Georgia, Pryor struggled with consistency last season and has been unable to make a mark while Josh Proctor has pushed for a bigger role at safety.
New Lettermen Live presented by Roosters
This week on Lettermen Live presented by Roosters, Ohio State legends Mike Doss and Anthony Schlegel joined Lettermen Row staff members Austin Ward and Spencer Holbrook. The group talked about the Silver Bullets, the offensive production, the non-conference schedule being completed and the huge upcoming road tip at Nebraska.

Line for Ohio State-Nebraska already moving
Just yesterday in the Scarlet Sunrise, it was written that Ohio State opened as a 15-point favorite over Nebraska.
Well, odd sharks must have loved playing money on Ohio State, because the Buckeyes are already up to a 17.5-point favorite for their trip to Lincoln, according to VegasInsider.com.
Currently, 80 percent of the money bet on the game Saturday night is on the Buckeyes, so the line will likely continue to grow. It may even finish as a 20-point spread. That’s something to worth monitoring, for those who gamble.
