Buckeyes willing to sacrifice to get back to work

COLUMBUS — Another virtual edition of Lettermen Live presented by Roosters is here, and while the Buckeyes are still working remotely, there is plenty for the Lettermen Row crew to break down.

Host Austin Ward is joined by Lettermen Row’s Jeremy Birmingham, as well as former Ohio State quarterback Justin Zwick and former linebacker Anthony Schlegel for a conversation about the optimism surrounding a possible college football season and when the Buckeyes can get back to work.

The guys break down the recent sentiment from a couple of Ohio State players saying they are willing to cooperate however they need to in order to play football this fall.

It’s Lettermen Live, and it’s all presented by Roosters.

Q: “a couple are willing to cooperate…”

Yes, Myers & Davis led with very clear statements.

It’s equally clear that 2 players do not a ‘team’ make… “however they need to in order to play…”.

nb. it is very easy to unintentionally put players, coaches… the whole team and program ‘on the spot’ when ‘so many’ are ‘so willing’ to “sacrifice” …someone else.

Elite talent and elite coaching. It’s hard to see anyone on the schedule that should realistically trip them up. You always have to be wary of the white out game, if that comes to fruition. Beyond that, it’s hard not to set the bar as comparing your team to that of the Clemsons and Alabamas of the world. They are wiping in a conference with what they are doing in Columbus right now.
