INDIANAPOLIS — Like everything else this season, it wasn’t easy for Ohio State to win its fourth straight Big Ten title.
But the Buckeyes did enough. No one is more responsible for that than Trey Sermon, who set a new program-record of 331 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns as Ohio State outmuscled a very worthy bunch of Northwestern Wildcats.
There are going to be questions about where the Buckeyes go from here, but the title is theirs once again despite missing a handful of important contributors on offense, defense and special teams because of Covid-19 and the constant curveball it’s thrown Ohio State and every one else this season.
