Photos: Ohio State beats Michigan, heads to Big Ten title bout unbeaten
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Ohio State rolled into Michigan Stadium hoping to prove itself as the country’s best college football team.
Jim Harbaugh and his Wolverines had other plans. By the time clock had turned to all zeroes, it was Ryan Day and the Buckeyes celebrating on the field in Ann Arbor.
Again.
The Buckeyes throttled the Wolverines 56-27, taking a 28-16 halftime and adjusting their defense to slow down Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson, who dissected the Ohio State secondary in the first half.
Behind J.K. Dobbins and a gritty performance by Justin Fields, Ohio State never wavered on offense. Dobbins collected his second-career 200 yard game, gashing Michigan for 211 yards on 31 carries and Fields threw for 302 yards and four scores while avoiding the turnover bug that helped keep Penn State in the ballgame a week ago.
As we have all year long, Lettermen Row was on-hand and has the sights and sounds from the greatest rivalry in all of sports. Please send a tennis shoe to Harbaugh for Christmas!!!
Among the most well-balanced Buckeye Teams I’ve seen in 65 years! Really happy and proud of them! Go Bucks!
