Heisman Trophy ceremony: Time, how to watch Dwayne Haskins in NYC

For the first time since eventual winner Troy Smith in 2006, Ohio State has a member of the Buckeyes heading to New York City as a finalist for the Heisman. And just like then, it’s another quarterback in Dwayne Haskins.

Haskins earned the right to join Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray and Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in Time Square Saturday to see which of the trio will receive one of the most, if not the most, prestigious award in college football. A redshirt junior from Potomac, Maryland, Haskins led the nation in passing yards during the regular season with 4580 and tied with Murray for touchdowns responsible for with 51.

With a win, Haskins would become just seventh player in program history to win the award and would be the eighth Heisman trophy overall, as Archie Griffin won it in back-to-back years in 1974-1975.
