COLUMBUS – A week after its stunning come-from-behind win at Penn State, the Ohio State football team returned home to Ohio Stadium and toppled the Indiana Hoosiers 49-26 in front of almost 105,000 fans.
There was a little Penn State hangover, though.
The weather was unseasonably warm, with temperatures hovering around 90-degrees at the start of the game, but the Buckeyes offense struggled to get hot early. They figured it out though, led by redshirt sophomore quarterback Dwayne Haskins who continued his push for a Heisman Trophy nomination and collected 455 yards and six touchdowns. Haskins fell three yards short of the Buckeyes single-game record for passing yards.
Ohio State will stay home for one more week and will host the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Oct. 13.
