DETROIT — There was nothing easy about the decision-making process for new Ohio State commit Dwan Mathis.
But in the end, the 4-star quarterback found what he believes is clearly the best fit for his future after flipping to the Buckeyes from a previous commitment to Michigan State.
“I know it’s a business,” Mathis said. “But the thing I was most worried about was letting down the fans. They’ve done so much for me.
“It was a hard decision. I didn’t want to leave Spartan Nation, but the Buckeyes and Ohio State were the best thing for me at the time.”
Mathis wrestled with his options, and Lettermen Row caught up with the fresh addition to Ohio State’s growing 2019 class on Thursday evening. And for more details, check out his full profile right here at Lettermen Row.
