Ohio State football recruiting can be a wild ride full of twists and turns as recruits from all over the country maneuver their way to signing day. Lettermen Row is here to help navigate the tumultuous roads by getting to the heart of the matter with the young football players themselves. Birminology shows who the young men being recruited by Ohio State truly are — by talking to them. Today’s guest is Ohio State 2020 commitment Kourt Williams, who plans to enroll early with the Buckeyes.
BELLFLOWER, Calif. — It’s been a quiet few months for Ohio State commitment Kourt Williams.
After going public with his plans to attend Ohio State, the majority of his suitors have fallen off to the wayside and allowed the 6-foot-1, 218-pound athlete a chance to turn his focus to winning a state championship in his senior season of high school football while he also prepares himself for the adjustments that come with heading across the country for college.
He’s also been intently watching Ohio State every week, learning more and more how he fits into the game plan for the Buckeyes, whose revamped defense has provided reassurance for Williams and his family that he’s made the right decision.
With just about two months before he’s expected to enroll in classes at Ohio State, how has Kourt Williams changed since his previous appearance on Birminology? Do the Buckeyes still see him as the right fit in their new Bullet position? Find out those answers and a lot more in this week’s edition of Birminology on Lettermen Row.
