With July on the horizon, it’s never too early for some Ohio State basketball, right?
Ohio State men’s basketball released its non-conference slate for the 2018-2019 season Tuesday. The 11-game schedule features an opening exhibition matchup with UNC Pembroke before the Buckeyes travel to Cincinnati on Nov. 7 for a clash with the Bearcats. Additionally, Ohio State will host Cleveland State on Nov. 23 at St. John Arena, with it all building up to the marquee matchup against UCLA Dec. 22 in the CBS Sports Classic.
“We are excited about the challenge of this non-conference schedule,” coach Chris Holtmann said in a release. “Our hope is that it prepares us for the grind of a 20-game Big Ten season. We believe the schedule includes many exciting matchups that will be tremendous tests and games Buckeye Nation will enjoy.”
