Ohio State basketball: Chris Holtmann ready for Year Two with Buckeyes

COLUMBUS — Ohio State basketball coach Chris Holtmann is ready for Year Two.

With practice about to begin for the Buckeyes, Holtmann and his team held their Media Day on Wednesday in the practice gym on campus to talk expectations, lineups and work ethic as the prepare for a difficult schedule starting in November.

Ohio State must replace a handful of veterans, including Big Ten Player of the Year Keita Bates-Diop, raising the degree of difficulty for Holtmann after leading a remarkable turnaround in his debut season leading a program that had become stagnant. In his preseason press conference, Holtmann detailed those challenges, hinted at some ways the Buckeyes might address the key departures and what he anticipates from a new-look roster.

Full video with Chris Holtmann is available here — along with a look at some of the renovations in and around the arena and practice facility.
